Turkana Married Woman.
A married Turkana woman wore the aluminium leaf-shaped earrings. Her numerous necklaces were made from beads and pieces of ostrich shell which had been skilfully shaped by hand. Her head is shaved and strands of hair have been twisted to hang like tassels. |
